Why Veneza Callegaro?
Veneza completed her BA Sport Psychology degree and BA Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Johannesburg in 2013.
Her internship was completed at the Centre for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in 2014 where she gained knowledge pertaining to pre-hab and post operative orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Veneza worked at:
- Elite Kinetics, specializing in National Tennis and National Squash Athletes
- Therapy Worx at the Paediatric Therapy Centre in Bedfordview and obtained her certificate for advanced International Aquatic Therapy Techniques
In 2016, Veneza started her own private practice within Alleyways Gym in Bedfordview, specializing in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Management of Chronic Disease.
In 2019, Veneza purchased a practice in Hurlingham Office Park and started specializing in rehabilitation for cyclists. Subsequently, the practice was relocated to Planet Fitness in Fourways and a satellite/secondary practice was opened at Pecanwood Golf Estate in Hartebeesboort.
The psychology studies have given Veneza the skills to understand and empathize with her patients - “it’s not just about their symptoms but how they feel too”.

Veneza Callegaro is a registered Biokineticist in Johannesburg and is dedicated in helping her patients become the best version of themselves.
Veneza has spent many years specializing in physical rehabilitation across all age groups.
She is passionate about helping her patients achieve a pain free quality of life thereby empowering them to take part in the day to day activities they choose.
Veneza Callegaro has a total of 9 years experience in Orthopaedics, Special needs and Chronic metabolic disorders. This, coupled with the experience gained in working as the Biokineticist for the Golden Lions rugby team has empowered her with a sixth sense in Orthopaedic injury identification, assessment and treatment.
Veneza is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Biokinetic Association of SA (BASA).

Closed on Public Holidays
In addition to the Fourways and Hartebeespoort practices, Veneza will travel to Sandton, Krugersdorp, Helderkruin and the greater Roodepoort area.
